San Jose, CA (1999)
Working with many diverse constituencies, YSA envisioned a livable city and developed a set of policies, guidelines, and actions to realize it. The vision centers on an outstanding public realm, building on a network of streets and public spaces, framed and activated by development, and served by transit connections. The Plan protects the city’s historic resources, and while integrating long-term expansion. At least one YSA principal participated as design architect, supervising architect and/or senior designer while associated with the architect-of-record for this project.
