San Juan, Puerto Rico (2004)
In 2003, AON Risk Services embarked on a significant relocation to a state-of-the-art building nestled within the vibrant San Juan financial district in Hato Rey. Being the inaugural tenant of this coveted location, AON Risk Services undertook a visionary project spanning 28,000 square feet, not only to establish a new headquarters but to pave the way for future tenants by setting exemplary standards for forthcoming build-outs.
At the core of this groundbreaking project was a strategic design philosophy that prioritized functionality and employee satisfaction. By strategically consolidating all conference rooms and communal spaces at the core of the building, a dynamic layout emerged, allowing for the perimeter glass to be enveloped with staffed cubicles. This deliberate arrangement optimized natural light exposure, panoramic views, and air circulation, fostering a work environment that not only enhanced collaboration and communication but also elevated the overall employee experience.
By harnessing this innovative layout, AON Risk Services revolutionized their workspace, creating a conducive environment that not only met their operational requirements but also enhanced productivity and well-being. This forward-thinking approach not only resonated within the building but also set a benchmark for future landlord build-outs, inspiring a new era of workplace design focused on maximizing efficiency, fostering connectivity, and empowering employees to thrive in a dynamic and engaging work setting.
