Developed by Acacia Network, Inc. and designed by Young and de la Sota Architects, PSC, Palacio Dorado in Toa Alta is the first project in Puerto Rico to achieve Enterprise Green Communities Certification, and the first multifamily development in Puerto Rico to earn a third-party green certification. Enterprise Green Communities is a green building program that helps developers, builders, investors, and policymakers implement sustainable designs within affordable housing units around the country. Through the nonprofit organization Enterprise, the program encourages the construction or rehabilitation of energy efficient and affordable homes.

Riviera Clubhouse is a recreation facility for the development’s residents. It is located near the main entrance of Riviera; facing the development’s linear park. An activity room is provided and can be divided into 3 rooms or 2 rooms and or one larger room depending on the size of the resident activity. The activity rooms open into a covered terrace with access to an open terrace, an infinity pool, kiddie pool, looking into the park. A kitchen, restrooms, storage, and administration offices are provided. In a separate structure, a fully equipped gym is provided for the residents.
This residential product is targeted for families that favor a townhouse arrangement, where units are clustered into urban groups opposed to the more costly and higher maintenance single-detached house development. Each unit is sited in a 7.32 mt x 24.67 mt lot. Two models were designed: A 3 BR townhouse with 1,567 Sf living spaces plus 431 s/f garage (total of 1,998 s/f). A 3 BR + Den townhouse with 1,724 s/f living spaces plus 454 s/f garage (total of 2,178 s/f).
